QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What can I expect in a Kung Fu forms class?
Each class begins with dynamic warm-ups and stretching, followed by fundamentals training. Students review and refine their routines, practice individual performance, and complete the session with targeted conditioning exercises.
Will there be fighting or application study?
Our primary focus is the performance art of traditional Kung Fu styles. We also provide a dedicated class to study practical self-defense applications, incorporating light sparring and situational drills. Please note, we are not a mixed martial arts or combat-oriented school.
What is the minimum age to join?
Enrollment is open to students ages 7 and above, with certain exceptions considered on an individual basis.
Am I too old to start?
Absolutely not. Kung Fu encompasses a wide variety of styles, many of which can be practiced at any stage of life. We have experience training students of all ages and backgrounds.
How much do classes cost?
Classes are $120 a month and include both Saturday sessions: Kung Fu Forms (10:30–11:20 AM) and Kung Fu Applications (11:30 AM–12:00 PM). Want to drop-in from time to time? A drop-in is $35 for both classes. More class times will be added eventually so that students will be able to train more!
Do you offer private classes?
Yes. Private instruction is available and can be tailored to individual goals. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs and scheduling options.
